چکیده:بازی تاج و تخت نخستین کتاب از مجموعه نغمه‌ی یخ آتش، اثر نویسنده آمریکایی جورج ریموند ریچارد مارتین، داستانی خیالی-حماسی است که در قلمرو "وسترس" رخ می دهد. جریان اصلی داستان، حول محور کشمکش جنگ برای تسلط به سلطنت این راستا داستان‌های دیگری درون آن متولد شوند. آنچه پیرنگ داستان را متمایز می‌کند، وجود آشوب هرج مرج درنظام حکمرانی دنبال رهبری یکپارچه بر جهان بی‌نظم می‌باشد. تحقیق با تمرکز اصول بنیادین نظریات نانسی کاترین هیلز ادوارد لورنز ردیابی بی‌نظمی تحلیل آن‌ها تا نشان دهد نیروهای متعددی زمان مکان شخصیت‌ها حاکم هستند جبر پیش‌بینی ناپذیر می‌کنند. مجموعه، نظام پیچیده‌ای قوانین نظریه حکمفرما است. نیز "اثر پروانه‌ای" بررسی می‌نماید آنجا هر اتفاقی تاریخ پیچیده تکرار می‌شود، نقش فراکتال‌ها عنوان عنصر عناصر مشخص می‌شود. پایان، توجه اینکه بی‌نظمی‌ها پژوهشگران می‌دهند ساختارهای ذهنی زبانی رمان مملو تلاش بی‌نظمی‌ها، نظم بیافریند.
